KCC Lil’ Panthers, a private Christian preschool, is looking for a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Lunch/Rest Support person in our Blue Room (younger classroom). This part-time position is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

As a private Christian preschool, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where children grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Our goal is to support each child’s development while incorporating our Christian values into everyday learning.

The Lunch/Rest Support person will be responsible for:

• Supervising and supporting students during lunch and rest breaks
• Assisting children with unpacking and eating their lunches
• Setting up and arranging cots throughout the classroom for naptime
• Helping children with toothbrushing after lunch
• Managing the classroom environment while children rest, ensuring safety and comfort
• Sweeping floors, wiping down tables, and lifting chairs as needed
• Maintaining a calm, quiet atmosphere while children relax or sleep

Previous childcare experience is preferred, but a positive attitude, patience, and a passion for working with young children are key to success in this role. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and able to support the needs of a diverse group of children in a classroom setting.

Physical requirements include the ability to move and arrange classroom furniture, clean up after meals, and assist children with physical tasks. The role involves standing, bending, and lifting as needed throughout the day.

KCC Lil’ Panthers Program is currently looking to hire preschool substitutes.  Interested candidates should have previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting.  We are a faith based preschool program so we do ask that all preschool teachers attend a Bible-believing church and profess faith in Jesus Christ.  Our preschool program is for ages 3-5 and runs Monday – Friday 8:00-3:30.  Interested candidates should submit their resumes to Amy McGruder [email protected].
